Skye IT expands UK presence with launch of new Kent office

Skye are pleased to announce the opening of their 4th UK office, based in Kings Hill Business Centre, Kent. The Kent office is the latest addition to the Skye Groups growing UK presence, with offices already situated in Essex, Surrey & Leeds.

Founded in 2003, with its 100% year on year growth rate, Skye IT has become one of the fastest growing resellers in the UK, delivering multi-faceted IT procurement services to SME, corporate & enterprise organisations.

Paul Swords, Chief Executive Officer of the Skye Group, comments on the new addition to the Skye portfolio: “We have a strong existing customer base out of the Kent area and recognise to be one of the more affluent and developing areas for businesses in the UK, it was a natural choice for us to expand our office presence to Kent.  We have employed several highly experienced sales professionals to work from the new office and, are confident that the whole group will benefit from the additional resource”.

Skye have four separate operational divisions: Skye IT, Skye Consult, Skye Recruit and Skye Direct, all working with the combined goal of providing clients with a comprehensive and proficient service.  Irrespective of whether their requirement is for a single piece of equipment, a high end solution, technical expertise, or the recruitment of qualified IT staff, Skye treats each individual requirement with the same dedicated care and attention.  The new Skye Kent office will be a sales driven office, with the ability to cross sell and encompass all divisions of the Skye Group.

Operations Director Simon Rosemeyer has been appointed to run operations from the Kent office, as Rosemeyer explains: “I have worked in the technology and comms industry for numerous years; working with various VAR's, ISP's and Corporate businesses.  In my experience it is rare to come across a company as focused as Skye; delivering the highest quality service and achieving superior customer satisfaction. Simon has over twenty years experience in selling enterprise ICT solutions and was delighted to join Skye’s ever expanding team, continues Rosemeyer: “The new team in Kent fits the Skye model perfectly; they are professional and highly qualified individuals, each bringing with them an excellent understanding of aligning client’s requirements with the appropriate solutions.
